Accounts are created through Google, X, email, or Instagram Login when the house Meta app is attached. Ratings, shelves, quiz scores, Vesper's letters, Stolen Hours, and membership live on your user id. Unsigned correspondence is kept only in this browser.

Instagram handles you leave at sign-in or Account are filed as a house advertising rail — handle, public portrait, follower count when Instagram Login confirms it, and the seat they belong to. Unverified handles are claimed onto a Google, X, or email identity so nobody can take yours by typing it. The founders use the rail to reach readers where they already linger.

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal checkout is handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer, subscription, and invoice ids on your account — never a full card number. Preview checkout (when Stripe is not attached) only stores a last-four if you type one.

Commissioned briefings send the vignette text and your question to the xAI API when a key is present. Do not include personal data in questions.

You can cancel a paid tier at any time from Account.
