Twisted History ("the Service") is a personalized discovery platform for verified historical vignettes. We curate, score, and recommend content based on your preferences using machine learning algorithms.

Account & Eligibility

By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old
• You provide accurate and complete information
• You will maintain the security of your account
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our algorithms or scrape content
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission

Content Disclaimer

While we strive for historical accuracy and verify all vignettes against primary sources, we cannot guarantee:

• Complete accuracy of all historical details
• That interpretations will align with all scholarly consensus
• That content will be free from all factual errors

The Service is for entertainment and educational purposes. We encourage independent verification of facts before sharing.

Payment Terms

Premium subscriptions are billed at $7/month via Stripe.

• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Intellectual Property

All content, design, algorithms, and branding are owned by Twisted History. Historical facts themselves are in the public domain, but our curation, scoring, and presentation are proprietary.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately, but previously paid subscription fees are non-refundable.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
